Reducing risk of back strain when working in an office

With all of the studies that have been done in recent years about health and injuries relative to office work, it is amazing how many people don’t consider ergonomic office chairs necessary. But, if one were a construction worker, they wouldn’t be on the job without a hard hat, would they? Of course not, and issues of back, chest and leg strain for seated office workers are becoming more of a problem all of the time. That is why ergonomic office chairs really should be considered essential for modern computer-centric offices, as we stay seated for far longer durations than workers in offices of years ago who worked with paper documents that had to be physically carried to other workers, inadvertently leading to less seat time and more stretching of muscles.
